Synergising and contemplating, diving into complex issues concerning the environment, humanity, health, and wellbeing. You could say I'm an optimistic realist—a mix of hope and practicality that keeps me grounded. I strive to contribute towards positive change in whatever I apply myself to. For me, creativity isn’t just about aesthetics; it's a powerful tool for influence and problem solving, a way to uncover hidden meaning and move forward with clarity.

Outside of work, I love being with my husband and two daughters. Exploring nature, gardening in my micro-permaculture garden, creating art with paints and illustrations with mixed media (pen and ink and digital).

My name is Valeria Domanski and I’m based in Sydney, Australia.As a creative, web and product designer with a focus on design leadership I originally created this website to showcase my skillset to potential employers and clients. It didn't sit right with me that my online presence was lacking some of the personal depth and value to others that I normally aim to contribute outside of the internet. So, I've decided to publish this Journal as a space to share my thoughts and open up a conversation, perhaps ignite inspiration and make some new connections.
After nearly 15 years as a professional designer
Across digital, web, eCommerce and product design at award-winning agencies and well-known brands, I've been privy to many perspectives from business owners and leaders from many industries such as: insurance, medical and dental, scientific, luxury and affordable luxury, FMCG, fashion and lifestyle.
I’ve witnessed firsthand how the commercial world is shaped—not just by what is sold and provided as a service, but by how leaders think and provide solutions to problems across many departments – as the design function is at the crossroads of many operational facets in business.
This journal is my invitation for you to join me in exploring the deeper side of my interests and experiences, a space where we can connect beyond the professional veneer.
I started this journal to share insights and spark conversations with fellow designers and professionals from every industry. My hope is to provide a useful perspective.This is a place for deep connection, not spam.
